Ashley’s family took us to the most famous restaurant in China- Quanjude, in business since 1864. Obama ate his duck here during his visit. 
Our table was waiting for us with traditional dishes screaming our names.
All the dishes were duck-based. Duck soup.

The Chinese loveee to share dishes (unlike the Japanese, and far more than the Koreans), so lazy susans are essential.
We ordered 2 and a half ducks, which were brought and carved in front of us. The best part is supposed to be the fatty skin, so it’s cut first and passed onto the table first.

We first had a traditional chinese breakfast- you tiao (fried dough), wonton soup, pan fried dough, and different types of congee (rice porridge)
We first stopped by the Bubble Stadium, the swimming center, which is closed during Winter.
